Vince Elliott

Founder, Managing Director

After 15 years in the financial services industry, Vince created Fortiter Wealth Management with the specific intent to create a better client experience in wealth management for affluent individuals and their families.

Prior to Fortiter Wealth Management, Vince was a Director at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, advising clients and their families on all aspects of their financial affairs including financial planning, investment consulting, family wealth education, stewardship and more. Vince has also served with the Private Client Group of Bernstein Investment Research & Management as a founding member of the firm’s Houston office.

Vince studied Electrical Engineering at Texas Tech University and received his BS in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston. He is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association and has earned Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and Chartered Private Wealth Analyst (CPWA) designations from the Wharton School of Business. He is also a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School. In 2009, he earned the designation of Kingdom Advisor upon completion of Biblically based stewardship training.

Vince is a Founder and Advisory Board Member of National Christian Foundation – Houston. He is a board member of the National Board of Directors for Dare2Share Ministries in Denver, the Houston Metro Steering Committee and the West Houston Committee for Young Life. Vince is also active in many civic, church and political organizations, and considers his 30 years of service as a volunteer leader with Young Life at The Kinkaid School among his most fulfilling adventures.

Vince’s hobbies reflect his desire to be challenged intellectually as well as physically. He is a private pilot, and enjoys shooting sports, golf and photography. He lives in Houston with his wife Patti and their three children.
